Perry Chen is a third generation diamond whiz. His family has been in the diamond business since the early 1900s. It was only natural that he should continue the legacy.

As a child he would watch his grandfather’s cut the girdle of a diamond instead of watching Sunday morning cartoons. He could easily tell the difference between a diamond and a CZ before the age of 10. Leon Megé Inc. wasn’t involved in diamond sales prior to Mr. Chen’s contributions.

He worked for Leon Megé for over a decade until he decided to utilize his close family contacts in the diamond industry to do what came so naturally to him: become a Diamond Specialist.

Combined with his life-long family experience and the skills he acquired at Leon Megé, he learned to judge diamonds and colored gems based on the most important quality: their beauty.

Mr. Chen has dealt with every type of diamond available; from 0 carats to 100 carats, from the flawless to the rarest blue, he has worked with diamonds for laymen and those fit for museum displays.
