You have 15 (fifteen) days from the day we received your full payment to return or exchange any of our stock in-house diamonds.

Once the order for a custom work is signed, the stone can not be returned.

• You are still responsible for the full cost of the custom mounting.
• All diamonds purchased with a credit card, PayPal, or Google checkout are final.
• All returned packages must be insured for the purchase amount.
• You will be refunded the invoice value of your in-stock diamond purchase (there are no restocking fees).

•  If you choose to send your diamond to an independent appraiser, Leon Mege requires a pre-payment of $250. When you purchase the diamond, this amount will be applied against your purchase price. Otherwise, this payment is non-refundable.

• If you choose to have a diamond shipped for your personal inspection the stone must be paid in full. You will be responsible for round trip shipping cost. You will have 5 (five) days to inspect the un-mounted stone from the day it's postmarked “delivered”. (Return shipments arriving postmarked after the 5 day return policy has expired will be marked as sold.)

If you prefer to send your diamond for inspection to a certified appraiser, you are not required to pay for the stone. Provide us with the appraiser’s name and contact information and we will ship it for you. Shipping cost must be received prior to shipment, which will be refunded to you if you choose to purchase the stone from us.

We will allow 7 (seven) days for a return of a stock item for a refund minus 20% restocking fees, or exchange for another item of equal or higher value.

Returned items must be returned in their original state and condition. If the items are not in their original state and condition all return privileges will be withdrawn.

Contact our office prior to returning your item. Without prior notification, the return item will not be accepted.

Should you wish to sell your diamond after the 15 day Return Policy is expired, Leon Megé will buy back/exchange your diamond.

This policy is only for diamonds originally purchased from Leon Mege Inc.

• We do not buy back diamonds with a color grade lower than "I" and/or with a clarity grade lower than "SI1". 

• We will credit the full amount of the original purchase if the new diamond is 50% more than the cost of the original purchase. Ex. If you originally purchased a $10K diamond, you will receive 100% credit if the new diamond costs $15K or more.

• *** Only select diamonds are eligible for the upgrade policy. Please check with our Diamond Concierge to find out if your diamond is eligible. 

• Upgrade includes GIA or AGS graded diamonds only. It does not apply to any side stones or jewelry. 

• There is one upgrade per customer, and the upgrade sale is final.

Buy Back Policy

• Buy-Back is equal to 65% of the customer's original purchase price for the center diamond ONLY, and not for side stones.

• Buy-Back and upgrades include GIA or AGS graded diamonds only. It does not apply to any jewelry.

• The diamond must be in the original condition as indicated on the Diamond Certificate.

• Leon Megé reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the diamond for any damages or fraudulent activity.

• If damages are found the customer will be notified immediately. The diamond will be submitted to a reputable and independent 3rd party for further evaluation.

• Based on damage or suspicion of fraud, Leon Megé reserves the right to negotiate a new price or decline the Buy-Back.

• Original grading certificates are required with return. A service charge of $150 applies to all Buy-Backs without original certificate.
