Conflict Diamonds & Dirty Gold

We acquire gemstones including diamonds through legitimate sources that are not involved in funding conflict and are in compliance with the United Nations Resolutions.

It is our strict policy not to engage in business transactions with any company or individual where any possibility exists of diamond's origin not conforming to the current US laws on conflict diamonds. In simple words we believe that any person using anything that caused a little child to be harmed must be exterminated from the face of this planet.

The Clean Diamonds Trade Act prohibits the import of diamonds into the United States unless the exporting country is implementing a system of controls on the export or import of rough diamonds that meets specified requirements, consistent with United Nations General Assembly Resolution 55/56 adopted on December 1, 2000, or a future international agreement which implements such controls and to which the United States is a signatory. The Act sets forth both civil and criminal penalties for violations of the requirements of this Act. The Act prohibits the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Export-Import Bank from engaging in certain transactions in connection with projects or exports to countries violating the requirements of this Act.

Dirty Gold:

The No Dirty Gold Campaign raises awareness amongst customers, retailers and the general public about the impacts of gold mining. The mining industry has been asked to address its practices so that gold is not produced at the expense of communities, workers and/or the environment.

We are fully supportive of the campaign and ensure commitment and compliance from all suppliers.
