A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of jewelry that combines elaborate micro pave lace work with rare collectable pair of gemstones. These stones are UNHEATED. It's a common industry practice to heat light colored aquamarines in order to enhance the stone's color. 

Unlike rare Santa Maria aquamarines prized for their deep blue color that rivals some blue sapphires, Adamantine Aquamarines have much lighter, less saturated color. It’s very much diamond-like pastel blue with very slight greenish tint. What they lack in color is fully compensated by bright diamond-like luster, making them a perfect stand-in for natural diamonds. Adamantine resemble a natural light blue color of a quiet lagoon on a rainy day. The term Adamantine (diamond like) is used here as an adjective to evoke the extreme high polish of these stones along with the silvery light color. We use the term in order to evoke the shimmering luster and color, we are not making reference to these stones being 'a diamond'.

 Cut from natural rough crystal, origin Afghanistan. The Gem Labs (GIA, AGL, GRS etc) do not issue 'origin reports' on Aquamarine. They have not built up reference databases for aquamarine. The US has a strong relationship with the 'Northern Alliance' in Afghanistan, many of whom has families in the northern region of Afghanistan who are/were gemstone miners. The Northern Alliance has been strong allies of US. An absolutely perfectly matched pair of this size is the absolute rarity and could easily become a gemstone collector prized possession. 

The stones were cut by Leon Mege's best kept secret - our artisan lapidary who divides his time between cutting fabulous award winning gemstones and being a Hollywood actor. No it's not Brad Pitt. And not his brother Stu.
