Ingeniously created, the unusual vastly distinctive octagon shape was designed especially for Elizabeth Taylor, given to her by one of her many husbands Richard Burton, on their first wedding. Also known as the Elizabeth band, it has surrounding diamonds with a platinum finish.  Like their mysterious alluring attraction Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton had for one another, this band is all about passion, love, and romance.  It defines an era of glamour, class, sophistication, and elegance: Old Hollywood Glamour in its entirety.  A visit to the Elizabeth Taylor Auction at Christie's, served as an inspiration.
