Galaxy™ halo ring, featuring a cushion red Burmese ruby.

The ring features a diamond halo followed by a micro pave set rubies, fancy undercarriage  split shank set with more miniature rubies. All stones are bead-set. The center stone is secured by a row of microscopic beads. 18 Karat custom alloyed yellow gold. 

For many many years a staple of Leon Mege fine ring designing, this particular design recently inspired

many others to add this twist on a traditional halo to their production lines. Some companies might call it "Seleste" (R) or something equally generic pseudo-romantic name by committee, but at the end of the day it's still a traditional double halo design.
