Description
This platinum band is great in stacks or just by itself, full cut white diamonds set in platinum. The design shows only a “string” of stones almost magically floating above the finger.
A string is 1.2 mm wide - slightly thinner than a dime. Each micro pave String Band™ is set with 40-60 stones, depending on the size of a finger. The String Bands™ were designed by Leon Megé and they always were and still are the only authentic micro pavé bands of this size.
The String Band is sturdy enough to withstand every day wear, the delicate nature of micro pave calls however for gentle wearing habits, extra care and most of all love of it's sparkling beauty. The bands are great in stacks mixed and matched in different combinations.
Our string bands are the only micro pave collection produced in our New York workshop. Not only each band is manually set under 20x magnification one stone at a time, the blanks we use are hand made in our shop from a highest quality hand-drawn wire. Our European-trained setters and bench jewelers taught by Leon Megé himself excel in securing microscopic stones with almost invisible metal beads. The rings are produced in variety of metal and diamond colors and combinations, as well as gemstone versions, mixed designs and multi-strand varieties such as Marina™ or Helix™ bands.
String bands are available with full cut or single cut super-precision cut diamonds. Carat weight for size 6 is approximately 0.30 carats for full cuts and 0.32 carats for single cuts.
