A Purchase Order spells out the terms and conditions of a pending sale.
A Work Order describes the design, technical specifications and the terms of custom work.
The customer has the right to examine the goods upon receipt and has 10 days in which to notify Leon Mege Inc. of any claim for damages based on the condition, grade, or quality of the goods. Such notice must specify in detail the particulars of the claim. Failure to provide such notice within the requisite time period constitutes irrevocable acceptance of the goods.
In no event shall Leon Megé Inc. be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of customer's purchase or use of any product or service, even if Leon Megé Inc. has advance notice of the possibility of such damages. Because of their intended usage, Leon Megé Inc. makes no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied, written or oral, to purchasers of their products regarding performance, safety, fit, merchantability, or length of service. Purchasers are responsible for selection of proper goods and must rely on their own skills or judgment that such goods are suitable for purchaser's application.
Leon Mege work is guaranteed for life. Proper care must be exercised by the consumer to display, handle, wear, store and clean the ring. Any damages caused by everyday wear and tear are not covered by manufacturer's warranty.
Purchase Order is not an estimate or a proposal, it's a binding written agreement based on the terms and conditions of the mutually accepted verbal contract. A Purchase Order will be sent only at the customer's explicit request.
The Purchase Order will supersede consecutive Work Order in regards to the current sale.
A payment must be received within one business day of the Purchase Order issue. The PO terms of sale will be honored for one business day unless an agreement to extend the terms is reached. An oral or written notification is required in order to get the extension. Leon Mege reserves the right not to allow the extension for any reason.
A failure to complete the transaction will result in cancellation of an order and our refusal to engage in any kind of future transactions with the client. Any future online purchases by the client will be denied and any communications will be ignored.
A Work Order is drafted in order to confirm and approve the fine details of a custom design. The work order is required only when the PO is not sufficient to describe the required work in detail.
All custom work orders are final once they are signed by the client. Under no circumstances a confirmed work order could be changed. In case of a cancellation the customer is responsible for the full payment regardless whether the work has been started or incomplete. Custom work cannot be returned for a credit or exchange except those qualified for Tranquility Program. Personalized, specially fitted, custom sized or engraved items cannot be returned.
All deliveries within New York state as well as orders picked up in person are subject to NY state sales tax of 8.875%. Finished orders will not leave our premises until the full amount clears our bank account.
