Shipping to Australia

As it turns out we have a free trade agreement with the Aussies. Click on the Australia icon to proceed to the article. 

Duty rates in Australia vary from 0% to 10%, with an average duty rate of 4.6%.  Some goods are not subject to duty (e.g. laptops and other electronic products).  Sales tax (GST) applies to most imported goods, with a few exemptions. The main exemptions are for certain foodstuffs, some medical aids and imports that qualify for certain duty concessions. GST is applied at 10% of the Value of the Taxable Importation, which is the sum of the customs value, any duty payable, the cost of freight and insurance. Imports with a product value up to AU$ 1000 are exempt from duty, GST and Import Processing Charge.

Although jewelry is duty free, other fees and taxes that may be payable such as Goods and Services Tax (GST) are not exempted by AUSFTA

Shipping to Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) is a free port and does not levy any Customs tariff on imports and exports. There is also no tariff quota or surcharge, or value added and general services taxes. Excise duties are levied only on four types of dutiable commodities, namely liquors, tobacco, hydrocarbon oil and methyl alcohol.

Shipping to UK

As of Oct. 20, 2003 all jewelry imported into the UK from the US, including goods bought over the Internet are subject to an import duty of 2.5% and is based on the declared value of the goods and the transport costs to the country of destination.
Value Added Tax (VAT): currently is at 17.5%. The declared value of the goods and the transport costs to the country of destination is used to estimate the tax.
Your carrier or import agent (including Royal Mail or Parcel Force) may also charge you Customs Fees to clear your products through customs. These range from about £4.00 (Royal Mail) to about £8.00 (Parcel Force) and should be added after the above taxes.

Shipping to Korea

We are not talking about North Korea where the funny looking fat kid who loves nukes lives. We are talking about awesome South Korea that gave us funny looking fat kid who does Gangnam style. Not to mention Samsung and Hyndai...

Under the KORUS FTA, almost 80 percent of U.S. exports to Korea of consumer and industrial products became duty free on March 15, 2012, and nearly 95 percent of bilateral trade in consumer and industrial products will become duty free within five years of that date.  Most remaining tariffs would be eliminated within 10 years.

Shipping guidelines

Orders placed after 3PM EST on Thursdays will not be shipped until Monday. Saturday deliveries are not allowed. All orders are shipped overnight. For your protection all packages must be insured for a full value and shipped via carrier of our choice. All deliveries must be made to a physical business or home address. All packages require an adult signature.

Items valued over $75,000 are shipped by Brinks or Malka-Amit and must be delivered to a valid business address or picked up at their location. Please contact them directly for fees, locations and hours. 
Important: The shipping insurance ceases to exist once the package has reached its destination and has been signed for. Please make sure that only an authorized and trusted person has the ability to accept a package on your behalf.
